CDI - IT Sourcing Specialist
Job Purpose
The Senior IT Sourcing Specialist plays a key role within the Indirect Procurement organization, driving sourcing and negotiation activities across IT-related spend areas.
Reporting to the IT Category Manager, the role is responsible for executing end-to-end sourcing initiatives, supporting supplier strategy implementation, and contributing to procurement transformation efforts. The position requires strong experience in managing complex sourcing projects, working with business stakeholders, and delivering value through cost optimization, contract structuring, and supplier performance management.
The role combines operational execution with a strong sourcing mindset and active contribution to category strategies, while ensuring compliance with procurement processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Execution
- Lead and execute end-to-end sourcing projects, from demand definition to supplier selection and contract finalization
- Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and cost modeling to support sourcing strategies
- Run RFx processes, evaluate supplier proposals, and drive fact-based negotiations
- Structure and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring risk mitigation and value creation
- Ensure proper documentation and contract storage within procurement tools
Category & Stakeholder Support
- Support the IT Category Manager in deploying category strategies and sourcing roadmaps
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into sourcing approaches
- Challenge demand, specifications, and total cost of ownership assumptions
- Contribute to value tracking and savings delivery
- Support the management of key suppliers in collaboration with category managers
- Contribute to supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance, risks, and opportunities
- Ensure alignment between sourcing decisions and long-term supplier strategies
Procurement Tools & Process Excellence
- Act as a key user of procurement tools (e.g., Ivalua), ensuring data quality and process compliance
- Use Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools to manage contract visibility and lifecycle
- Ensure sourcing and supplier data are accurate, complete, and up-to-date
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and best practices
- Contribute to procurement transformation initiatives, including process standardization and digital adoption
- Support the deployment of sourcing tools, templates, and methodologies
- Drive efficiency improvements in sourcing execution and stakeholder engagement

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with strong exposure to IT-related sourcing environments
- Proven experience managing sourcing projects involving complex supplier landscapes, commercial negotiations, and contract structuring
- Experience working in international and matrix organizations
- Strong sourcing and negotiation skills, with a value-driven mindset
- Ability to manage end-to-end sourcing processes autonomously
- Solid analytical skills (cost analysis, benchmarking, TCO approaches)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in execution
- High level of rigor, ownership, and accountability
- Experience with eProcurement tools and contract management systems (e.g., Ivalua)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English and French; additional languages are an asset (target C2, min. C1)
