An active silhouette and accessories are key elements of CHANEL's look and timeless codes, immediately recognizable.Your impact at ChanelThe analyst engineer is responsible for improving the quality of new metallic components at CHANEL within collection timelines and ensuring the reliability of recurring components.Reporting to the Head of Metal Parts for Leather Goods, your main missions are:New Metallic Components - Study risk analyses for metallic components intended for high-quality finished products (fasteners, eyelets, chains...) and propose counter-analyses- Evaluate vulnerabilities of metallic components from development to production, considering quality and durability requirements- Determine relevant tests for each component, analyze results, and formalize findings- Monitor production sites of suppliers during industrialization phasesRecurring Metallic Components - Ensure reliability of design and conception of all recurring metallic components- Collaborate with supplier technical teams to analyze test results- Identify and propose action plans to eliminate risks, study fit plans, and analyze production samples- Conduct on-site production surveillance during industrialization- Keep abreast of technological and regulatory developments through technological watchYour qualifications- 3-5 years of experience as a quality engineer, metallurgy/materials engineer, or production engineer in the luxury sector- Ability to prepare clear, detailed analysis reports- Knowledge of quality standards and technical specifications related to metallurgy- Familiarity with physical and chemical tests for metallic components- Mastery of key metallurgical production processes- Ability to read and analyze technical drawings and 3D design plans- Knowledge of surface finish control using a master- Proficiency with IT tools, preferably PLM/ERP/LIMS software and 3D software like SolidWorks- Rigor, organizational skills, anticipation, good interpersonal skills, dynamism, autonomy, and attention to detailWhat CHANEL offers- Independence of a creative House that values people- Dynamic environment fostering excellence and personal growth- Opportunities for advancement, diverse career paths, and recognition of individual uniquenessDiversity and inclusion are core to CHANEL's values.
