Your role

We are looking for a Category Manager wearable & Sun to oversee this new category. This is WW role and should be based in Creteil.

Main responsibilities

1. The Category Manager is accountable for
2. Maintaining a continuous balance between demand and supply within their product line, as part of the S&OP process.
3. Optimizing flows
4. Reducing lead times for products sold by the group.
5. Ensure Coordination of the catgerory with Key department within Lens or frames Stream
6. Oversees the proper execution of the S&OP process, defines performance indicators, and ensures a balance between market demand and production capacities across short, medium, and long-term horizons.)
7. Define and implement solutions for issues affecting market service (production incidents, transportation issues, country-specific challenges).
8. Develop and maintain plans ensuring sales continuity in case of production issues, potentially leading a crisis team until resolution.

Main requirements

1. Expertise in Industrial Planning: A deep understanding of industrial planning processes, best practices, and tools is essential.
2. At least 10 years of experience in industrial world
3. Strong problem solving skills
4. Solid experience with Microsoft software packages / Project Management and Planning
5. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide and support planning teams.
6. Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills to foster teamwork and align with cross-functional teams.
7. Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills to address planning challenges and ensure production efficiency.
8. Experience: Proven experience in supply chain planning and management, ideally in a multinational context.
