Role Overview
As a Car Specialist, Europe, you will join the Broad Arrow team, helping clients buy and sell collector cars through auctions and private sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with car collectors and clients by providing high-quality advice and expertise.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on buying and selling collector cars.
- Proactively generate and develop new clients through outreach, cold calling, and participation in collector car events.
- Drive revenue through consigning and selling cars via live and online auctions, and private sales.
- Inspect cars in person on behalf of clients and provide informed assessments.
- Collaborate with the Research & Editorial team to ensure accurate descriptions of consigned vehicles.
- Travel regularly to meet clients interested in buying or selling collector cars.
- Attend automotive events as requested to support client engagement and business development.
- Partner with administration, client services, and marketing/PR teams to facilitate the full consignment process.
- Oversee photography, cataloging and expense management for individual consignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent professional reputation with strong integrity and ethics.
- Proven experience in automotive sales, collection management, vintage racing or similar with deep knowledge of collector cars.
- Strong team orientation and collaborative mindset focused on delivering the best outcomes for clients.
- Demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the collector car market, including trends and valuation dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform under time pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to operate manual transmissions and classic cars.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes‑Oxley and related regulations (if applicable).
Additional Responsibilities
- For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations.
- Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
Location and Travel
This role may be performed remotely in France, Germany, and Italy. Regular travel is required to meet clients and attend automotive events.
