Buyer

We are looking for a skilled Buyer (W/M) to structure and implement the purchasing policy of Renaissance Fusion, negotiate and secure contracts with subcontractors / suppliers, and make sure that all procurement needs are satisfied while keeping the "total costs" acceptable.

Responsabilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers and keep up to date with commercial and technological developments
• Analyse needs in close consultation with internal purchase requesters and support the formalization of requirements in specification documents, when appropriate
• Identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction in collaboration with the various teams
• Evaluate and negotiate prices based on a "total cost" approach (price, quality, terms of payment, delivery schedule, transport, insurances, services, deadlines, etc.) and provide such information to colleagues working on the financial planning activities (PMO in particular)
• Gather the necessary documentation for the submission of purchases to the approvers and the treasurer, leaning on the requesters if necessary
• Place orders and follow them up with external suppliers, while keeping the internal purchase requesters updated
• Manage complaints to suppliers
• Provide professional and technical support in strategic procurement for the category(ies) of goods or services targeted

Education and professional experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in degree in business administration, commerce, or another relevant field years of relevant experience in sourcing activities.
• Previous exposure/experience to cutting-edge technology and R&D environments

Languages

• Fluent in English (C1) and French (C1)

Technical skills

• Deep knowledge of the commercial context, the supply chain and general conditions of sale and the purchasing chain (purchase request, purchase order, delivery and billing).
• Previous experience in contract management.
