About this position
This Business Controller position is assigned to the Schwarzkopf Professional (BCP) and HCB (Henkel Consumer Brands) scopes, at the heart of a dynamic and international environment. The role plays a key business partner function for both local and European teams.
What You Will Do
- Manage and coordinate financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and analytical reports
- Track KPIs, perform in-depth analyses, and provide recommendations for performance improvement
- Drive and support the business by assisting senior leaders and operational managers in making well‑informed decisions
- Proactively communicate and present Controlling topics to General Managers (GMs) and other key business stakeholders
- Provide independent and objective financial insights to ensure systematic control and strict monitoring of defined objectives
- Ensure financial compliance and governance by applying internal guidelines and external regulatory standards
- Promote financial and controlling awareness across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement of controlling‑related concepts, processes, and tools
- Act as Project Lead and Team Leader: recruitment, onboarding, team development, and role‑modeling to foster agility, resilience, and digitalization
Why you are a good fit
- You have at least 3–4 years of experience in Controlling or Business Controlling, with a strong level of professional maturity
- You have worked in a structured and demanding environment, ideally with responsibility for a significant business scope (e.g. SKF Professional ~€30M and HCB)
- You are comfortable in an operational support role, with strong involvement in cost controlling, particularly marketing spend
- You are proactive and solution‑oriented, with the ability to challenge, analyze, and recommend tangible actions
- You are open to international travel and driven by a genuine desire to grow and develop
- You have a professional command of English, essential to succeed in an international environment and collaborate with European teams
