Business Controller France - H/F - CDI

Mission

The Business Controller France supports the Finance Director and other Management members of the French Market with financial and managerial information, and analysis to ensure efficient decision-making process and achievement of Business Objectives & financial KPI targets.

Key Responsibilities

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

• To collaborate with the F&A Manager and other Management Team members to monitor, analyse and evaluate the business activity both on-going and new projects.
• To provide regular and accurate information on financial performance and with the capacity to generate the relevant analysis in cooperation with the F&A Manager to identify opportunities and alert about risks that may affect the business.
• To participate in the development of cross functional and new local and global projects.
• To become key person to ensure the rigor and veracity between agreed commercial conditions and financial data.

PLANNING

• To contribute in Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes for P&L items, driven by the F&A Manager and in coordination with local Management Team members (General Management, Sales, Marketing and Local operations), Regional management and the HQ ensuring its coherence, accuracy and submission through Company's data entry tools within fixed deadlines.

EXECUTE

• To support in the generation of monthly financial reporting - including global P&L (profit and loss), P&L per client and per brand, ATL/BTL costs, Fixed costs, main financial indicators, other reports - with due accuracy, completeness, exhaustiveness and compliance and within Company's deadlines.
• To perform monthly quantitative and qualitative analysis of unit performance, in cooperation with the F&A Manager to Local Management Team members, Regional management and the HQ.
• To contribute in ensuring the accuracy, completeness and exhaustiveness of financial records and proper documentation support in line with local legal requirements, Company's processes and procedures, business habits.
• To process Invoice codification and provision management.
• To contribute in maintaining appropriate internal financial controls across all operations following the Company guidelines.
• To work closely with Local and Regional Management Team and the HQ to update and improve business processes in line with local legal and tax requirements and Corporate Policies and Procedures.
• To provide support during Internal, External Audit and Tax inspections.
• Consequently, and permanently, to watch out for any optimization possible, availability of new financial opportunities and instruments.

CONTROL

• To support the F&A Manager in the safeguarding of the overall profitability of the Company; controlling that the P&L KPIs are achievable through regular analysis of unit performance, proper and timely communication with the relevant stakeholders and offering and participation in the implementation of appropriate actions.
• To contribute in generating and preparing controls that the Company delivers against budgets, forecasts, business and strategic plans.
• To support the monitoring of financial and operational performance against targets by identifying where performance may be at risk and alerting the relevant stakeholders.

Your profile

• Experience: 3/5 years in a relevant controlling function, preferably in luxury goods or fast consumer goods industries. An experience in Consulting / Audit could be a plus.
• Education: Master's degree in Business / Finance.
• Languages: French-English are mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
