The role
The underlying function of this role is to support the AAG Chief Purchasing officer activities.
As part of this function, analysis will be required to report on critical pricing elements during commercial supply tenders and can be used to monitor current supplier performance. Further to this, there will be a requirement to produce ad-hoc product / pricing analysis.
The scope of the role will cover all AAG purchase across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Group Purchasing in providing competitive analysis for both forthcoming tenders and providing ongoing Supplier KPI analysis.
- In charge of group supplier purchase 3xnet price analysis
- Support to Category and Supplier Managers
- Performing competitor market analysis.
- Carrying out Profit Margin calculations
- Making recommendations based on Analysis.
- Assisting in Supplier Reviews and Tenders.
- Monitoring market trends on commodities.
- Private Label Performance tracking
Relations:
- Group European role, therefore, need to be in contact with category management and purchasing teams local
- Cross function: Collaboration internally across business functions (finance, Purchasing, Marketing Product, Sales)
Professional experience, Qualifications & Personal attributes
- Power BI Reporting skills (Query development, BI Dashboard report customization)
- Analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in an international environment
- Ability to apply logic to situations
- Good understanding of the distribution model (Automotive OE or IAM as plus)
- Interest in the Automotive industry desirable
