Brand Design at Alan
Our brand at Alan is precious to us and is evolving as we grow! As part of the Design team, the Brand Designer plays a large role in cementing our brand, creating visually compelling assets to support our messaging, and using their experience to grow a strong brand‑design practice.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Marketing and Growth team to understand business objectives.
- Master all aspects of our guidelines and art direction.
- Deliver visually engaging assets.
- Contribute to the growth of Brand Design at Alan by ensuring that the quality of our visual communication contributes to the success of our brand.
- Hone your skills in various design softwares and techniques by gathering top-of-the‑art industry knowledge and working together with one of the best teams there is (e.g., gen AI).
- Be a strategic advisor by understanding target audiences & market trends.
Current Design Priorities
- Consolidate and scale our global visual identity across all touchpoints including marketing and communication assets and our products.
- Work collectively to create a visual universe around our mascot.
- Invest in engaging motion‑based and video communication assets.
- Create impactful physical and event experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in a product company.
- Fluent in English.
- Experienced user of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and motion design (After Effects, Premiere is a plus).
- Comfortable with generative AI.
- Enjoy creating videos for ads and social media.
- Deep knowledge of graphic design codes and visual styles; experience designing for online platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, and display ads.
- Excellent at communicating and articulating creative choices in a compelling way.
- Structured; understands that goals and constraints need to be clarified before executing.
Nice to have
- Familiar with concepts like target audience, branding, user experience (UX), and conversion optimization.
- Great 3D skills or willingness to grow 3D design skills.
- Showcase a strong portfolio including diverse design work, marketing materials, branding projects, and digital assets.
