Location: RemoteSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MST (Full‑Time)

About the Role

We're seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper / Admin Assistant to join our home services business. This is a dual‑role position where you'll split your time between bookkeeping responsibilities and general administrative support. You'll play a key role in maintaining our financial health while keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities

Bookkeeping (50% of role)

  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoice tracking and payment follow‑ups
  • Make 30–50 outbound calls per week (approximately one day) to customers with past‑due invoices
  • Handle payment reminders and address basic invoice questions with professionalism
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
  • Process payments and reconcile accounts
  • Generate financial reports and statements as needed

Administrative Support (50% of role)

  • Provide general administrative assistance to support daily business operations
  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Handle data entry and spreadsheet management
  • Coordinate communications between team members and customers
  • Support additional operational tasks as needed

ReMust‑Have Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable making customer‑facing phone calls
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting fundamentals
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • QuickBooks experience (certification is a plus but not required)
  • Previous experience in home service businesses or similar industries
  • CPA certification or similar accounting credentials (bonus)
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and collections

Working Hours:

Standard working hours will be Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MST.
