Bring our machines to life
At ProXES, you will work on industrial process equipment used by leading companies in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
You will support projects from software development and testing through to commissioning at the customer’s site. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, reliability and performance of our machines.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and modify automation software using TIA Portal and STEP 7
- Configure operator interfaces and visualisation systems with WinCC
- Integrate Profinet and Profibus communication networks
- Configure drives and machine safety controls
- Commission machines and production systems at customer sites
- Diagnose faults and optimise machine performance
- Support and train customers during production start-up
- Prepare technical and service documentation
- Work closely with our project, electrical, process and service teams
Your profile
- At least five years of hands‑on experience in industrial automation, including the programming and commissioning of Siemens-controlled machines.
- Strong practical knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal, STEP 7 and WinCC
- Experience with Profinet, Profibus, drives and safety control systems
- Good understanding of industrial machines and production processes
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
- Structured, practical and solution-focused working style
- Confidence in working independently and directly with customers
- Fluent French, Professional working English
- Willingness to travel regularly within France and to selected countries in Africa
- Valid driving licence
- Experience in the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetics industries would be an advantage.
