ATR - Landing Gear Referent
Job Position
Landing Gear Referent – Engineering Directorate – ATR.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the certification of landing gear systems and equipment covering all phases of product evolution including serial modifications and incremental developments.
- Lead and support in‑service investigations, identifying root causes, defining corrective or mitigating actions, and producing risk assessments.
- Provide technical support to the ATR Customer Care Center and the Final Assembly Line by addressing customer and production queries with clear, accurate technical responses.
- Review and challenge supplier documentation, including technical reports and design change proposals, providing structured feedback to ensure compliance and robustness.
- Develop methods, tools, and processes related to ATR landing gear systems to support the in‑service fleet and future aircraft developments.
- Drive technical decisions and take ownership of complex investigations with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
Qualifications
- Field of study: aeronautical or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5years of experience in landing gear design, architecture, or technical support.
- Technical knowledge of landing gear and hydraulic systems, design, certification, and continuous airworthiness processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; autonomous, curious, proactive, rigorous, attentive to detail, and a team player.
- Fluency in English and French (Italian is a plus).
