Avionic Systems Certification Engineer (m/f)

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Certification Engineer (f/m) to join the Avionic System Engineering department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing creative proposals for aircraft systems and services. As part of the Cockpit and platform certification team, you will be involved in managing compliance demonstrations aiming at certifying current and future avionics and cockpit systems.

Your challenges

• Develop the certification strategy including applicable airworthiness requirements and associated means to demonstrate compliance.
• Advise system designers of applicable regulations and their impacts on the design definition.
• Ensure that certification documents bring appropriate evidence of compliance with applicable airworthiness requirements.
• Manage compliance demonstrations for a diverse portfolio of avionic systems across various programs and derivatives.
• Convince airworthiness authorities (such as EASA, FAA) about the compliance of the design.

Your boarding pass

• Significant experience in Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in System engineering or Airworthiness and Certification.
• Strong customer mindset with the ability to design creative, customer‑centric solutions.
• Dynamic, positive, curious, and passionate approach to learning and problem‑solving.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with a highly diverse team.
