Atlassian Administrator
Within the Group IT department, you will be responsible for the administration, evolution, and integration of the Atlassian platform composed of:
- Jira Software
- Confluence
You will ensure platform performance, security, governance and alignment with business processes (IT, software development, support, asset management, project management and business teams).
The successful candidate will collaborate with all IT regions, providing advanced support on the Jira platform and translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Governance
- Administer Atlassian instances (Cloud)
- Manage users, groups, roles and permission schemes
- Manage licenses and capacity planning
- Configure workflows, screens, fields, permission schemes and object schemas
- Ensure system monitoring, maintenance and upgrades
- Define and enforce governance standards and best practices
Jira Assets Administration
- Design, configure, and maintain object schemas in Jira Assets
- Model CMDB structures (CIs, services, applications, hardware, software, etc.)
- Define object types, attributes and relationships
- Implement automation rules linked to asset lifecycle management
- Integrate asset data from external systems (HR systems, EntraID, etc.)
- Ensure data quality, normalization and governance
Automation & Development
- Implement advanced automation rules across Jira projects and Assets
- Develop scripts (Groovy / ScriptRunner)
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs
- Configure webhooks and cross-system synchronization
- Automate asset lifecycle workflows and approvals
Integration & System Interfacing
- Integrate with DevOps tools (CI/CD, source control systems)
- Interface with enterprise systems (EntraID, HR systems, …)
- Integrate asset data with CMDB or discovery solutions
- Manage SSO integrations (SAML / OAuth)
- Contribute to IT architecture and data governance initiatives
- Advise business and technical teams on best practices
- Facilitate workshops to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Maintain documentation and deliver user training
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Skills
- Strong expertise in Atlassian modules: Jira Software, Jira Service Management
- Strong expertise in Hands-on experience with Jira Assets (object schema modeling, CMDB concepts)
- Good knowledge of Confluence
- Experience with automation and system integrations
- Solid understanding of REST APIs
- Understanding of ITSM, CMDB, Agile and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of SSO and IAM concepts and AQL and JQL knowledge
- Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken), as the role involves working with international stakeholders and documentation in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail

- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
