About our client

Our client is a global investment firm founded over 30 years ago. They have multiple funds and strategies, and we are working for their more recent impact growth fund. The mandate of this fund focuses on investing across Europe at the intersection of impact and technology, including themes within climate, health and education, typically investing equity tickets of 10 - 30mn to drive growth in the portfolio.

What the job involves

• Sourcing: actively drive outbound sourcing: map and assess vertical landscapes, identify top opportunities, connect, and nurture relationships with entrepreneurs
• Deal flow: manage and assess inbound deal flow, evaluate and analyse pitch decks, participate in and contribute to initial assessment of opportunities
• Investment: actively participate in investment processes and due diligence efforts, including specific analysis deep dives, in-depth conversations with entrepreneurs and contribute to end-to-end investment process
• Portfolio: ad-hoc analysis and deep dive for the portfolio companies (go-to-market, expansion outside a company's primary market, competitive intelligence)

Who we are looking for

• Master's or Bachelor's degree from a tier one academic institution is essential
• Full‑time work experience from a top tier institution in one of investment banking, consulting, growth equity or private equity is essential
• Business fluent English with conversational fluency in French
• Demonstrable passion for technology and impact
• Highly analytical
• Commercially minded with an aptitude for investing
