Area Sales Manager / Director France
LEO Pump is strengthening its European leadership in domestic, commercial and industrial water technologies and solutions. To accelerate growth in France and the Benelux region, the company is recruiting a high‑calibre Area Sales Manager/Director with strong experience in professional distribution networks and a proven ability to develop new business in technical product categories.
The role is strategically important: it combines market development, key account management, and ecosystem building (service partners, system builders, agents). The position requires a French speaker with solid technical credibility and the ability to represent LEO in professional associations and engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Growth
- Drive sales growth in France and Benelux across LEO product line.
- Deliver the regional growth plan, starting from current customer base.
- Achieve yearly targeted new sales in France and Benelux , including onboarding new professional distributors .
- Mid‑term development and scale the business: Reach targeted total sales by 2030 through structured market expansion.
- Build and expand a network of professional distributors .
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new partners aligned with LEO’s value proposition and service expectations.
- Strengthen LEO’s presence in France by developing a network of local service partners, installers, and system builders .
- Identify and appoint commercial agents for DOM/TOM territories.
3. Key Account Management
- Act as KAM for major existing accounts both LEO brand and private label.
- Support the Regional Managing Director in the account management of regional partners with presence in French and/or Benelux market .
4. Ecosystem & Representation
- Represent LEO in installer associations, engineering associations, and technical committees .
- Promote LEO’s technical capabilities through presentations, seminars, and training sessions.
- Launch the Campaigns in 2026 in coordination with European marketing.
- Achieve targets in commercial/industrial sales and secure specification in engineering projects .
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- Proven experience in a leading professional distributor environment (e.g., Sophinter, Atlantique, Sonepar, Rexel) or in a commercial role managing technical product portfolios.
- Strong track record in business development , distributor management, and technical sales.
- Experience in pump systems, HVAC, water technologies, or related electro‑mechanical products.
Technical & Commercial Skills
- Ability to discuss technical solutions with engineers, installers, and system integrators.
- Comfortable delivering technical presentations , product trainings, and specification support.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing private‑label or OEM accounts.
Personal Attributes
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build a market from a growing base.
- Excellent relationship‑builder with distributors, installers, and engineering stakeholders.
- Structured, analytical, and capable of managing both strategic and operational responsibilities.
- French speaker; English proficiency required for European management interactions. Dutch knowledge is a plus.

- Based in France , ideally Lyon area.
