What You’ll Do
- Market Monitoring: Design, maintain and automate tools based on Bloomberg or other data sources to track key market metrics (including implied volatility levels, cross‑currency basis, FX hedging costs, etc.) to support analysis and investment/hedging decisions.
- Quantitative analysis: Conduct quantitative analysis of financial risks and exposures to enhance GIS interactions with AXA entities/Group management, develop tools for cross‑asset investment decisions and analyze FX strategy by measuring performance, hedge costs, sensitivity and other relevant metrics.
- Reports enhancement: Strengthen various internal reports in collaboration with AXA IM and AXA entities.
- Presentation: Use quantitative analysis to support GIS presentations in calls with local investment teams and the Group Investment Committee, and deliver other GIS presentations.
Who You Are
- Working toward a master’s degree in engineering or finance (12‑month apprenticeship).
- Autonomous in building quantitative tools with Excel, Python and Bloomberg, driven by results and a strong appetite for rigorous quantitative analysis.
- Strong interest in financial markets and derivatives, with a proactive eagerness to learn and ask questions for continuous progress.
- Analytical skills and ability to evolve in a complex and diverse technical environment.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, with the ability to interact effectively with various internal stakeholders through conference calls to discuss analyses.
