Antenna Design Engineer
Antenna Design Engineers develop and optimize antenna systems for wireless communication, radar, navigation, and sensing applications, applying electromagnetic simulation, antenna theory, and measurement techniques to design antennas meeting performance, size, and cost requirements across mobile, satellite, automotive, and IoT markets. Key skills include electromagnetic simulation tools (CST, HFSS, FEKO), measurement in anechoic chambers, and understanding of antenna standards. Automotive (V2X), 5G massive MIMO, and satellite communication are high-growth antenna application areas.
Role Summary
Purpose : Lead the design, simulation, and validation of next-generation multi-band antenna systems for high-density IoT and automotive applications.
Impact : This role directly influences the connectivity reliability of our 2027 product roadmap and ensures all AI-driven design optimizations meet the rigorous standards of the EU AI Act.
Team Structure : Part of the Hardware Systems Group, collaborating with 4 RF Engineers, 2 ML Data Scientists, and 3 Mechanical Designers.
Reports To : Reports to the VP of RF Engineering.
Working Conditions : Travel Required – 15%; Standard daytime hours with flexibility for global team syncs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate precision lab equipment and handle miniature RF components.
- Occasional lifting of test equipment up to 15kg.
