Job Description Summary
Dans le cadre de l’équipe Hydro Value Chain, l’Analyste de la Valeur Systèmes & Produits est chargé de soutenir l’amélioration des coûts et la productivité à travers l’ensemble de la chaîne de valeur. Dans ce rôle, il/elle aide les Systems & Products Value Managers et les experts fonctionnels à piloter les initiatives de réduction des coûts et à combler les écarts de productivité, depuis l’idéation jusqu’à l’exécution, en veillant à ce que les objectifs d’économies soient déployés de manière cohérente durant les phases Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) et Order-to-Remittance (OTR).
As part of the Hydro Value Chain team, the Systems & Products Value Analyst is focused on supporting cost improvement and productivity across the value chain. In this role, he/she will help Systems & Products Value Managers and functional experts pilot cost saving initiatives and close productivity gaps, from ideation to execution, ensuring savings objectives are deployed consistently through Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and Order-to-Remittance (OTR) phases.
Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop a deep understanding of Hydro systems and products in every aspect (designs, commodity structures, fabrications and industrial schemes, site installation, costs) to identify and quantify areas for productivity improvement.
- Support the cost savings initiative across the value chain (Design to Installation), from cost saving ideations to implementation in execution.
- Participate in ideation workshops with Systems & Products Value Managers and Functional Experts to identify sources of cost inefficiency and generate executable cost saving ideas on the total cost of ownership.
- Propose cost saving initiatives business cases, with support of Systems & Products Value Managers and Functional Experts, based on savings potential, targets, development timelines and resource allocations.
- Help Systems & Products Value Managers and Variable Costs Program Manager build road maps and actions plans to develop and deploy cost saving initiatives in both projects and tenders.
- Partner with Variable Costs Productivity Champions in the value chain organization to support consistent progress on identified saving opportunities until their implementation in execution.
- Capture saving impacts on spending proving productivity materialization in execution.
- Promote productivity cross‑functional collaboration across the value chain with ITO and OTR stakeholders.
- Collaborate with ITO Tendering Teams during cost deep dives to optimize deal offerings to reach competitive cost levels thanks to mature cost saving initiatives applicable in ITO.
- Propose improvement actions across the value chain based on industry best practices, market standards and benchmarks with other GE Vernova businesses.
- Support the Variable Costs Program Manager to track and report cost savings funnel progress and impacts on the bottom line.
- Follow up on monthly cost overruns in OTR to identify recurrent sources of non‑quality impacting productivity improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain management, site installation, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in productivity management, cost‑reduction programs, forecasting cost management or operational excellence in industrial, manufacturing or utilities contexts.
- Fluent English (speaking, reading and writing) due to regular interaction with regional/global stakeholders and documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated capability to drive productivity, cost‑reduction/should‑cost analyses or operational excellence.
- Proven data analysis skills, with experience interpreting complex financial and operational metrics.
- Candidates from Brossard / Quebec must be fluent in French and legally authorized to work in Canada.

- Advanced proficiency with productivity and cost‑tracking tools (e.g., ERP, Excel, Power BI).

- A combined technical and commercial background is a plus.
