Reporting : Group FP&A and Supply Chain Finance Director

JOB PURPOSE

The Group Supply Chain Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring consistency and transparency in financial and operational reporting, driving a cost out programme globally as well as oversight and compliance with all internal controls.

This role will help manage a very high amount of spend globally across 6 geographic regions. The objective is to identify and implement a savings programme. In addition, this role will challenge our current approach to working capital to deliver cash to the organisation.

In dotted line with the Group Supply Chain Director, and he will be a member of the Global Supply Chain and Finance teams.

RESPONSABILITES

  • Ensure full alignment across Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance on a single-number forecast and Lead financial risk and opportunity assessment in the monthly S&OP cycle,
  • Co-lead financial governance of a Project Direct savings program, including savings validation, tracking and delivery, build and maintain benefit tracking models, challenge assumptions and ensure delivery of committed savings and working capital improvements,
  • Own working capital performance across Supply Chain, including DIO, inventory drivers and stock policies. Challenge trade-offs between service, inventory and cost, and drive reduction of excess & obsolete stock and improvement of cash generation,
  • Drive standardization of tools, processes and ways of working across regions and support capability uplift in a low maturity, fast-moving environment,
  • Implement and drive a balance scorecard of Supply Chain KPI’s. Ensure consistent reporting and performance reviews across all regions and provide clear, actionable insights to support performance management,
  • Ensure that supply chain budget & forecast processes (two a year) are completed within the business timetable, assist in driving accountability and understanding of the drivers,
  • Establish and maintain financial controls and process to be inline with company’s accounting policies and financial processes,
  • Lead the financial review of capital projects with recommendations within the supply chain,
  • Provide ad hoc strategic analysis and scenario planning,
  • Provide a leadership role that ensures a proper control environment through compliance with accounting policies and procedures, chart of accounts and business controls at site level,
  • Support the Global Supply Chain Director in the implementation of required processes to improve control globally.

PROFILE

You have a 10 years relevant experience with a background in supply chain and particularly plant/manufacturing controllership with a high school accounting finance degree.

You have a proven experience in working capital, inventory optimization, transformation or PMO driven environments. You have a strong understanding of IBP / S&OP processes and financial integration and a relevant SAP experience.

You are fluent in English and French (role located near Lyon).

You might be able to work independently, setting your own priorities, and within a team, drive through change, generating results with general/minimal guidance. You have the ability to operate in a low maturity, high-pressure, multi-country environment.

You are recognized for your flexibility, your ability to drive through change, to understand, interpret and summarize large sets of datas to bring a clear view for business decision and determine key message for business.

You have interest and empathy in working across different geographies.

Your stakeholder management and communication skills are no more to be challenged.
