Analyst, Private Equity Infrastructure
Job Description
Within the Infrastructure Private Equity team in Paris, the successful candidate will support La Caisse’s ongoing efforts toward its business objectives by working on transactions and supporting the post‑investment work on infrastructure assets in the European portfolio. They will also assist the team in various research and strategic initiatives, while getting exposure to large‑scale infrastructure projects and complex transactions.
What You Will Do
- Participate actively in the analysis of investment opportunities.
- Develop and review detailed financial models and highlight key points of the investment thesis, including performing sensitivity analyses and reviewing financial projections and valuation assumptions.
- Provide advice on valuations of potential investments using the appropriate methodology (discounted cash flows, multiples, etc.).
- Support coordination of in‑depth due diligence processes for investment opportunities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the drafting of investment committee memos for new investment opportunities.
- Assist senior colleagues in negotiations of transaction agreements and shareholding structures.
- Prepare internal and external reports on portfolio companies.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments affecting infrastructure investments and prepare sectoral studies on potential target markets to develop.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or engineering.
- Master’s degree in finance or engineering (MBA, MSC, etc.), an asset.
- Up to three (3) years of full‑time experience in investment banking, private equity or infrastructure.
- Recent university graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
- Excellent abilities in financial analysis and modelling.
- In‑depth knowledge of and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with sectors within infrastructure (transport, ports, airports, energy, renewables, telecoms, etc.), an asset.
- Mastery of French and English, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of other European languages, an asset.
