Job Purpose
The Analyst will assist on the portfolio management of a 75+ real estate asset portfolio in Germany and the Netherlands and on pan‑European acquisition analysis.
The Analyst will work on the daily management of the portfolios and will thus be in front line with the clients and the asset management team / transaction teams.
They will also provide support on the acquisitions for this portfolio that are taking place in Germany and the Netherlands (acquisition analysis, due diligence follow‑up, integration of the acquired assets).
The Analyst will be responsible for performing rigorous analysis, either at asset or portfolio level, to ensure a high quality of data available for making sound investment and management decisions.
Essential Functions
The main focus will be on a pan‑European mandate for one of our French client (currently c. €1bn of AUM).
The Analyst will assist on all the activities related to this mandate and will be in close contact with the client, under the supervision of his/her manager. The Analyst will also be in direct contact with the local transaction and asset management teams in each country.
- Participate in the daily management of the portfolio liaising with all the parties involved (asset managers, valuers, accounting teams, banks…)
- Be one of the main contacts of the client for the management of their pan‑European portfolio and for all the related activities
- Provide when required analysis at asset and portfolio level
- Preparation and coordination of regular meetings with the client
- Daily exchanges with local asset management teams (reletting, CAPEX) and presentation of the main projects to the client
- Preparation of analysis in relation with asset management projects, works / redevelopment projects, acquisitions, market analysis…
- Review, consolidation and analysis of CAPEX and OPEX budgets
- Ensure the new assets / acquisitions are integrated smoothly into the portfolio
- Support the local teams to prepare the initial analysis of the new assets / acquisitions
- Assist in developing business plans, hold/sell decisions and portfolio strategies
- Assist in various development projects when needed (buyouts, bids for new mandates…)
Depending on the projects / workload and on his/her interests and capabilities, the Analyst may be involved in other activities across the Paris office and/or with other French clients.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate is a last‑year student with a business, financial or real estate/property degree (Bac+5 – Business or Engineering School). Experience in commercial real estate is a plus.
