Apprentice in Data Scientist for Systems Engineering Faculty (m/f)

Airbus Commercial Aircraft – Toulouse site. This apprenticeship of 1–2 years (preferred 2) will begin at the start of the 2026 academic year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing data tools and sources to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Centralise and harmonise diverse data sets to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and visualization tools to support decision‑making.
• Contribute to short‑ and long‑term resource planning for the Design Office.
• Provide analytical support for the Make‑or‑Buy strategy on engineering activities.

Skills & Prerequisites

• Master’s level (BAC +4 / BAC +5) in Business, Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Strong statistical knowledge and understanding of mathematical laws; experience with Python is an advantage.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker Studio.
• Comfortable with collaborative tools, especially Google Suite or equivalent.
• Basic project‑management skills and ability to coordinate cross‑functional work.
• Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and listening skills in an international environment.
• Strong communication ability to synthesize complex information for operational and managerial stakeholders.

Language Skills

• English – Advanced
