AI Engineer (M/W)

Your Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join the Group Agentic AI Factory, focused on designing, developing, and deploying AI models and systems that power high-value assistants, agents, and agentic AI applications across the organization.

You’ll work at the cutting edge of AI technology, building production‑ready solutions that address real business challenges and enhance product capabilities for our global user base.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AI models (LLMs, RAG systems, agents) to solve business challenges
• Implement data preprocessing pipelines and feature engineering for AI applications
• Train, fine‑tune, and evaluate models ensuring performance, accuracy, and reliability
• Deploy AI models into production environments with robust monitoring and observability

System Integration & Scalability

• Integrate AI capabilities (assistants, RAG, tools, workflows) into existing platforms and systems
• Build scalable AI infrastructure leveraging cloud platforms and MLOps best practices
• Optimize model performance, latency, and cost‑efficiency for enterprise‑scale deployment
• Implement AI orchestration frameworks for multi‑agent systems and autonomous workflows
• Participate in Agentic AI Factory rituals and contribute to the technical roadmap
• Collaborate with AI Product Managers, Full Stack Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices
• Contribute to building reusable AI assets and capabilities

Quality & Governance

• Ensure AI systems meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements
• Implement testing strategies, model validation, and quality assurance processes
• Document AI architectures, models, and deployment procedures
• Monitor AI system performance and iterate based on usage metrics and feedback

Your Profile

Hands‑on coding experience with at least one language (Python preferred)

Technical Expertise

• 3+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with proven track record of deploying production AI systems
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn, Hugging Face)
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and model optimization techniques
• Experience with LLMs and Agentic AI — hands‑on work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or open‑source models
• Expertise in RAG architectures and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, FAISS)
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

AI Platform & Tools

• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar)
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and model evaluation techniques
• Familiarity with data engineering tools (Databricks, Spark, Airflow) and data pipelines
• Understanding of AI observability and monitoring tools (LangChain, LangFuse, DataDog)

Soft Skills

• Proactive, curious, and able to move fast in an ambiguous, changing environment
• Strong in communication and organization, able to prioritize tasks and re‑prioritize constantly
• Problem‑solving mindset — able to translate business challenges into technical AI solutions

Languages

• Fluent spoken and written English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with enterprise platforms & governance frameworks
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning, multi‑agent systems, and autonomous AI architectures
• Familiarity with model compression, quantization, and edge AI deployment
• Experience with AI safety, red teaming, and responsible AI practices
• Background in NLP, computer vision, or specialized AI domains
• Previous work in consulting, product companies, or fast‑paced startup environments
• Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate with AI‑assisted development tools
