AI Engineer Intern
We’re looking for a hands-on AI builder to prototype and deploy AI agents that supercharge how our teams sell, analyse data, and ship product. You’ll work directly with the COO and our Product & Tech team on projects with immediate business value.

ScaleX Invest is a SaaS platform for Venture Capital, Growth Equity and Private Equity investors to centralise portfolio data and make better decisions on valuation, risk and performance.
Building on Early Metrics’ decade of data and modelling expertise (since 2014), we combine a unique private-company dataset with validated methodologies to turn complex portfolio information into actionable insights for investment teams.
Our platform offers three core solutions:
- Portfolio Monitoring : Real-time data integration, risk and liquidity scoring.
- Multi-Asset Valuation : AI-enhanced models for equity, debt, and convertibles.
- Venture Loan Scoring : Backtested risk and ESG scoring for smarter lending.
Mission – AI at the Service of ScaleX Teams
You will work directly with Edouard (COO) and our Product & Tech team to prototype and deploy AI agents that accelerate ScaleX’s internal execution.
1. Data & Valuation Insights
- Build data pipelines to collect, clean and structure public information
- Enrich the datasets used for private markets benchmarks and valuations
2. Document Intelligence & Data Extraction
- Develop OCR/NLP workflows to extract key information from investor reports, cap tables and financial statements
- Turn unstructured documents into structured datasets for valuation monitoring
3. Tech & Automation
- Prototype, test and deploy LLM-based agents to support product, tech and support workflows
- Contribute to the architecture and best practices for AI integrations
4. Sales & Marketing Efficiency
- Automate the production of sales decks, one-pagers, and client presentations.
- Set up AI tools to assist with campaign personalisation and A/B testing.
What We’re Looking For
- You are currently studying Computer Science, AI, or Applied Mathematics .
- You’ve built end-to-end automation projects (prompt engineering, LLMs, APIs).
- Strong Python skills and experience with data processing; TypeScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with document parsing, OCR, and unstructured data extraction.
- You are autonomous and thrive in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
- You are professionally fluent in both French and English , written and spoken.

- Compensation: €1,300/month (internship)
