Based in Toulouse, France, you will join the Robotics Development department. The team develops and supports robotics and automation solutions for Airbus's civil plants and Final Assembly Lines (FAL), acting as an internal supplier and center of competence. The focus is on assembly, inspection, painting, and composites.

Responsibilities
- Define and design robust sensor suites (Cameras, Profilometers) tailored to industrial constraints.
- Implement and optimise high‑performance perception algorithms in C++/Python with a zero‑latency budget.
- Lead intrinsic and extrinsic calibration of sensor suites to ensure spatial data integrity.
- Analyse computing requirements (CPU/GPU/Edge) and integrate the perception stack into the global robotic control architecture.
- Lead PFMEA processes to identify failure points and ensure safety and functional reliability.
Qualifications
- Background in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum 8 years of robotics experience, including at least one full product life cycle.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, ROS2/DDS, and spatial mathematics.
- Agility, intellectual curiosity, team spirit, multicultural openness.
- Fluent professional English.
