Description of Work
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to managerial, supervisory, professional, and para‑professional staff located in this office to assist eligible persons with disabilities to achieve identified goals. The position is located in the Wilmington Unit office and provides direct and indirect clerical assistance to three counselors and other paraprofessionals and support staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and callers courteously and professionally and coordinating contact with staff, vendors, other departments, and the public.
- Using a multi‑line phone system to answer and route calls to appropriate staff members.
- Preparing documents, maintaining spreadsheets, inputting data, and completing billing processes for assigned staff.
- Receiving applications from clients and requesting and obtaining necessary medical and treatment records.
- Documenting client information, interactions, and services into the case management system throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Utilizing office equipment and relevant technology (software and systems) to meet office needs.

- Demonstrated experience working with the public.
Salary Grade Range
$39,244 - $68,679
Recruitment Range
$39,244 - $49,000

Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
