Overview

Adjoint Chef d’Atelier Mécanicien (H/F) – CDI – Loudéac (22). This role is part of a French auto repair center located in Loudéac, Bretagne. The position will support the Shop Manager in organizing, managing and animating the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager in daily activity management.
• Supervise and coach a team of mechanics (task allocation, monitoring interventions, skill development).
• Ensure quality of technical services performed on vehicles.
• Handle complex diagnostics and provide technical support.
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, safety standards and internal procedures.
• Engage with customers (welcome, technical advice, explaining interventions).
• Track workshop performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Mechanical automotive training (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS or equivalent).
• Significant workshop experience with prior supervisory experience considered desirable.
• Strong technical skills (maintenance, diagnosis, repair).
• Organizational sense, leadership and team spirit.
• Good interpersonal and customer service attitude.
• Valid driving licence (B).
