Accounting Associate (M/F)

Responsibilities

• Take charge of a client portfolio composed of micro-businesses and SMEs, artisans, retailers and self-employed professionals
• Processing of digitized accounting documents
• Review of automatic accounting pre-allocations
• Data entry and account reconciliation (matching)
• Preparation of tax returns and VAT filings
• Account reviews
• Preparation of balance sheets and tax return packages (liasses fiscales)

Requirements

• Minimum education: two-year post-secondary qualification (Bac+2, e.g., BTS/DUT) or DCG
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar role within an accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of general accounting
• Good command of office software and accounting software
• Ability to apply current methodologies while complying with professional standards and procedures
• Methodical and organized
• Team player with a collaborative approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proactive and able to make constructive proposals
• Interest in digital tools and digitalisation
• Knowledge of PENNYLANE software is a plus
