Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Cannock, recognised as a leader in their field. They are seeking an Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper to join their growing team. THE ROLE

This is a permanent Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper position, providing the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and audit-exempt limited companies. Training and guidance are provided to help you progress in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare income and corporation tax computations.
• Undertake bookkeeping duties and produce VAT returns.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
• Meet clients face-to-face to provide advice and support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in an accountancy practice (or strong desire to develop in this environment).
• Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good understanding of income and corporation tax.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with a genuine passion for client service and professional growth.

Additional Support:

• Study support towards professional qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or ACA.
