The Role
As an Account Manager Public Sector, you will be the trusted advisor for government and public‑sector customers, guiding them through their day‑to‑day needs and long‑term technology goals. In this role you will drive account strategies, strengthen long‑term relationships, and proactively identify new opportunities to help public organizations deliver better outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the trusted primary contact for your customers, owning the full experience and building deep relationships that enable tailored, value‑driven solutions
- Coordinate the successful delivery of SoftwareOne solutions while managing daily customer and partner requests and providing responsive, high‑quality remote support
- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities, managing renewals and negotiations, and leading cross‑sell, upsell, and expansion initiatives across your customer portfolio
- Develop and execute an effective account management plan focused on PyraCloud and self‑service adoption, while tracking KPIs, forecasting performance, and maintaining accurate documentation for internal alignment
What we need to see from you
- Proven experience in account management, customer success, or sales within technology, cloud, or software solutions
- Effective communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and understand customer needs to deliver measurable value
- Confident in driving renewals, identifying new opportunities, and managing commercial discussions across a diverse customer portfolio
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high delivery standards
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs, forecast revenue, interpret customer data, and support data‑driven decisions
- Customer‑centric, proactive, and self‑driven, with a collaborative approach and willingness to adopt digital tools such as PyraCloud and self‑service platforms
