Account Executive Mid‑Market – Benelux Market

As an Account Executive Mid-Market working for the Benelux market , you will support merchants seeking Alma’s solutions, expand our customer base, and contribute directly to success.

About The Mission

  • Managing the entire sales cycle (Outbound & Inbound) of new Mid‑Market accounts (turnover €10M–€250M) from prospecting to contract signature.
  • Engaging with C‑Level executives as a trusted advisor.
  • Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in Benelux and Europe.
  • Contributing to the optimisation of internal processes to support scalability.
  • Maximising Alma’s take rate by ensuring activated merchants are fully optimised.
  • Organising and tracking all sales activities via our CRM.

About You

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in similar roles (excluding internships & apprenticeships), with a proven B2B sales record.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with negotiation and contract signing experience.
  • Strong sales orientation and energetic approach.
  • Excellent analytical mindset.
  • Self‑driven, curious, and proactive.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Well‑organized with a structured approach.

About The Recruitment Process

  • Phone interview with Recruiter (30 min).
  • Remote interview with Hiring Manager (60 min).
  • Remote / On‑site business case study presentation (60 min).
  • On‑site final interviews with VP Sales (30 min) & the team (30 min).
  • Reference check.
