Account Executive DACH (France/Germany)

With a team of 60 people across Europe and Asia, Scaleflex is accelerating its growth in Europe and is hiring a high-performing Account Executive to scale the DACH region.
Your Mission
As Account Executive – DACH, you will own and grow a Tier 1 territory, with a strong focus on outbound-driven sales and strategic account development.
Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer, your primary objective is to generate, develop, and close new business opportunities, combining:
- Proactive outreach and account-based selling
- Qualified opportunities from BizDev, Partners, and Marketing
- Long-term expansion within complex, multi-brand organizations
You will sell to senior stakeholders and decision makers from IT, Ecommerce, Digital/Marketing, and Content teams, as well as other Transformation leaders.
- Proactively generate pipeline through outbound, account-based strategies, and targeted prospecting
- Identify, map, and engage key stakeholders within complex enterprise accounts from Ecommerce/Retail, Classifieds, Real Estate, Online Travel Agencies, among others (500M€-multibillion € revenue)
- Build personalized outreach sequences via email, phone, LinkedIn, and social selling
- Own strategic target accounts from first touch to close
- Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and closing
- Close opportunities sourced via outbound, BizDev, Partners, and Marketing
- Drive new business, upsell, and cross-sell across DAM, DMO, and Visual AI solutions
- Create tailored commercial offers by ICP, segment, and vertical
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and reporting in Hubspot and Salesforce
Product & Value Selling
- Perform high level introductory calls with qualification and value prop presentation
- Deliver high-impact demos adapted to both technical and business audiences
- Clearly articulate Scaleflex’s value for marketplace complexity, multi-brand governance, and scale
- Position Scaleflex as a strategic platform, not just a DAM or optimization tool
- Act as a trusted advisor across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Digital teams
GTM & Ecosystem Development
- Execute Scaleflex’s Go-To-Market strategy in the DACH region
- Collaborate closely with PMM, BizDev, Marketing, and Partner teams on targeted campaigns
- Engage and develop relationships with technology partners, agencies, and integrators
- Represent Scaleflex at industry events, trade shows, and executive meetups
Growth & Leadership (Mid-term)
- Contribute to territory strategy and market expansion planning
- Support the future build-up of a DACH sales team as the region scales
Requirements/Must-Have
- 7+ years of experience as an Account Executive or closing role in B2B SaaS
- Proven success selling enterprise or upper mid-market solutions, ability to manage complex sales
- Strong experience with MarTech / AdTech / Content / E-commerce / Cloud solutions
- (DAM, PIM, CMS, DXP, CDP, Media Optimization, or similar)
- Clear hunter mindset with a strong outbound track record
- Excellent objection handling, negotiation, and value-based selling skills
- Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce and modern sales engagement tools
- Strong interest in SaaS, AI-driven platforms, and digital ecosystems
Languages
- Fluent German (native or business-level mandatory)
- Professional English
- French is a plus
Nice-to-Have
- Experience selling into marketplaces, multi-brand or multi-country organizations
- Exposure to developer-centric or API-first products
- Experience with partner- or ecosystem-driven sales motions
