Account Director - Energy
We're looking for an Account Director to join our team in Paris, France in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients in the energy sector, driving delivery excellence and sustainable growth.
You will oversee strategic initiatives, manage client relationships and shape solutions that help clients navigate the challenges and opportunities of the energy industry, including digital transformation, sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary Account Manager for key energy clients ensuring delivery, client satisfaction and growth
Align with EPAM Account Managers to co-develop and support account plans and strategies for delivery, growth and client satisfaction
Serve as an expert consultant leading business transformation, product strategy and roadmaps for energy clients
Shape and scope complex solutions, develop engagement strategies and oversee delivery governance
Oversee contract negotiations and manage pipeline forecasting to ensure predictable delivery and revenue flow
Deliver on EPAM’s growth and performance objectives within the energy business unit
Drive account revenue within the client portfolio and accelerate opportunities to influence and sell end-to-end EPAM services
Cultivate and expand senior client relationships maximizing opportunities within the energy sector
Contribute to EPAM’s business goals by achieving revenue and profitability targets within your accounts
Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the energy sector
Requirements10+ years of experience in strategic development and growth within the energy industry (utilities, oil&gas, renewables or related sectors)
In-depth understanding of energy market dynamics, sustainability initiatives and emerging technologies
Proven track record of managing complex enterprise-level client accounts in a consulting or IT services environment
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution adding value to clients while supporting delivery teams
Knowledge of technical platforms, business models and trends relevant to the energy sector
Strong experience managing and monitoring performance metrics across accounts
Proven experience in consulting, strategy, team management and product or service delivery
Established network within the energy industry in France
Ability to navigate complex engagements and deliver under pressure while maintaining client trust
Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both French and English
Demonstrated ability to assess opportunities related to digital transformation and emerging technologies
