Strategic Account Manager – Defence & Embedded Cyber Security

A global cyber security platform provider is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager to drive growth across the defence and embedded systems sector.
This role sits within a specialist public sector team focused on securing complex embedded and operational technology environments across major defence programmes.
You will work with large industrial organisations and key stakeholders across aviation, naval, land, space and critical OT environments, helping translate complex cyber security challenges into scalable platform solutions.
The Role
This is a strategic enterprise sales role focused on developing new opportunities and expanding relationships across the defence ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Driving new business and revenue growth across defence and embedded systems environments
- Developing strategic relationships with major defence contractors and ecosystem partners
- Mapping complex defence programmes, product lines and decision-makers
- Leading complex enterprise sales cycles for cyber security and platform solutionsWorking closely with internal teams including Solutions Engineering, Product and Leadership
- Translating IT, OT and embedded system security challenges into tangible solutions and proof-of-concepts
- Maintaining strong pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy and strategic account plans
- Building influence across the wider defence technology ecosystem
Experience
We are looking for a commercially driven enterprise sales professional with experience operating within defence, embedded systems or operational technology environments.
You will likely bring:
- 8–12+ years experience in enterprise sales within defence, cyber security or embedded systems
- Experience selling into defence primes, industrial technology or government‑linked organisations
- Understanding of embedded security and IT/OT environments
- Exposure to technologies such as EDR/XDR, endpoint protection, NDR/ICS, container or Kubernetes environments
- A strong network within the French defence ecosystem
