Location: Paris (Hybrid – 2 days remote, 3 days on‑site)

About the role: Partner with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver software solutions that accelerate research workflows and enhance data analysis. Work at the intersection of technology and business across Sanofi’s global operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, reliable micro‑services and cloud‑native applications.
• Translate requirements into high‑quality, performant code in JavaScript / TypeScript (Node.js) and React.
• Own technical decisions, ensuring alignment with the broader engineering strategy.
• Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and peers to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Advocate best practices in software engineering, testing, documentation, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering (experience over 5 years is preferred but not mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (plus experience is a plus).
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and Terraform/ AWS CDK or similar.
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (Node.js) and React or similar frameworks.
• Experience building microservices, designing APIs, and applying cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps principles and cloud containerization.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and communication skills in English.
