As a data engineer within our Digital Manufacturing & Supply Accelerator team, you will contribute to revolutionizing how we deliver life‑saving medicines through AI and digital innovation. Your solid experience will be valuable in implementing and optimizing our data solutions in a dynamic team driving digital transformation in manufacturing.

Main responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines that transform raw data into valuable insights, ensuring scalability and reliability in cloud environments.
- Develop and fine‑tune data models focusing on query performance and efficient workloads.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement data quality checks and follow governance standards.
- Support and maintain automated data ingestion processes, observability and monitoring systems to track operational KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain pipeline health.
- Build and maintain ETL processes and machine learning workflows, providing clean AI‑ready data for our applications.
- Apply and share data engineering best practices, including design patterns, CI/CD integrations, containerized deployments; participate in peer review of code and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Solid experience implementing data pipelines and data warehouse solutions in cloud environments.
- Strong experience with data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and pipeline orchestration in production.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing platforms; Snowflake preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools (IICS or equivalent), data transformation tools (dbt preferred) and Python for data processing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and orchestration frameworks (Airflow preferred).
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions preferred), version control (Git) and infrastructure as code principles (Terraform preferred).
- Ability to implement engineering patterns and technical standards.
- Collaborative mindset, strong problem‑solving abilities, self‑motivated, initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
- English is mandatory.
Salary
€48,000.00 - €64,000 per year, final compensation based on experience, skills, location and other factors.
