z/OS Systems Administrator – Mainframe

We’re looking for an experienced z/OS Systems Administrator to join a critical, high-availability Mainframe environment supporting core business applications in the banking/financial services sector .

Experience: 5+ years in z/OS Administration

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM z/OS
• JES2 / JES3, TSO / ISPF, SDSF
• SMP/E – installation, maintenance & upgrades
• DFSMS, HCD/HCM, RMF, IPCS
• Sysplex / Parallel Sysplex
• OMEGAMON or equivalent monitoring tools
• Mainframe security & RACF
• Backup, recovery, DR / BCP and service continuity
• L2/L3 incident management & root cause analysis
• Capacity planning and performance optimization
• Experience in banking or highly regulated environments
• Administer, maintain and evolve z/OS environments
• Install, configure and upgrade Mainframe systems/software
• Monitor system performance, availability and capacity
• Perform maintenance using SMP/E
• Troubleshoot L2/L3 incidents and perform RCA
• Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities
• Collaborate with Security, Network, Storage and Production teams
• Contribute to Mainframe modernization initiatives
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Nice to Have

• IBM Mainframe certification
• z/OS Connect, APIs, Mainframe DevOps or automation
• Experience with banking regulatory environments
• French: Fluent
• English: Professional proficiency

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT or equivalent.
