Youth Program Coordinator

English Path is a rapidly growing international language school delivering immersive English, French and German learning experiences across the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

We are currently seeking a Young Learner Programme Coordinator to join our Paris Young Learner programme and lead the delivery of a dynamic and engaging activities and excursions programme.

This is an exciting leadership role within a vibrant residential summer camp environment , where you will manage Activity Leaders and ensure students and Group Leaders enjoy a safe, inspiring, and memorable experience.

About the Role

As Young Learner Programme Coordinator , you will lead a team of Activity Leaders and oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of daytime and evening activity programmes.

You will bring strong organisational ability, leadership skills, and creativity to ensure our activity programme combines education, entertainment (“edutainment”), and cultural immersion .

Working closely with operational teams, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, well-organised, and engaging programme for international students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee a full programme of daytime and evening activities
• Ensure high levels of student and Group Leader satisfaction with the activity programme
• Manage and support a team of Activity Leaders, including performance monitoring and appraisals
• Support student and Group Leader inductions and orientation sessions
• Coordinate student arrivals and departures , including logistics and transfers
• Ensure excursions and off-site visits operate smoothly and safely
• Work closely with operational teams including transport providers, Group Leaders and centre staff
• Act as a key point of guidance for health & safety, safeguarding and operational procedures
• Compliance & Safeguarding (ACM Regulation – France)

This role operates within the French Accueil Collectif de Mineurs (ACM) framework.

The Programme Coordinator will support compliance with:

• BAFA staffing requirements
• Safeguarding and incident reporting procedures
• Health & safety standards during residential supervision and excursions
• Duty of care for all young learners

A strong commitment to student welfare and safeguarding is essential.

✔ Experience working in a residential summer camp or young learner programme

✔ Previous experience as an Activity Leader or activity programme manager

✔ Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

✔ Strong organisational, coordination and logistics skills

✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✔ Flexible, proactive and solutions-focused approach

✔ Willingness to act as a Designated Safeguarding Person (DSP) on site

⭐ Experience organising sports or recreational activities

⭐ Recent police background check
