Responsibilities

• Ensures the equipment is maintained in good condition, monitors workshop performance, and manages fleet activities in the designated geographic sector.
• Verifies and, if necessary, completes work instructions requested for workshops.
• Controls maintenance invoices, processes claims, and engages with maintenance suppliers when needed.
• Processes technical expertise documents and addresses technical anomalies reported.
• Controls equipment at subcontractors.
• Determines contractual re‑facturations for cleaning, conditioning and operational anomalies.
• Verifies proper application of maintenance rules and adherence to work instructions.
• Verifies execution of work and identifies any deviation in the workshop’s agreed deadlines, justifying and acting as needed to ensure contractual commitments are met.
• Guarantees the updating of the technical database for all work performed in workshops (managing modifications/corrections).
• Participates in continuous improvement and railway safety activities.
• Manages geographically linked transport requests in direct contact with EF and optimizes services during tender phases (cost, time, quality).
• Develops a local network to meet client needs as required.
• Organises yard departure needs of wagons in accordance with applicable railway safety rules.
• Intervenes in return procedures and identifies technical preparation needs for wagons for the next leasing contract or possible yard storage.
• Additional activities: possibility to manage garages and recycling activities, or take over additional workshops.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in maintenance (railway, industrial or transport).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of railway operation (CUU, EF, transport rules) is a real plus.
