Workplace & Systems Engineer F/M

Aginode is looking for a Workplace & Systems Engineer F/M .

Reporting to the IT Operations Director, you will be responsible for contributing to the rationalization, modernization, and security of the IT environment, focusing on systems, infrastructure, and hybrid Microsoft workplaces. Your role includes delivering reliable and scalable solutions aligned with IT roadmaps, providing operational support, and coordinating with related teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the rationalization, modernization, and security of the company’s IT environment, including systems, infrastructure, and hybrid Microsoft workplace platforms, in line with IT strategy and business priorities.
• Design, operate, and continuously improve workplace services such as device management, application deployment, compliance policies, and end‑user environments, ensuring reliability, security, and user experience.
• Manage and optimize hybrid environments (on‑premise and hosted), including Active Directory, Entra ID, file services, virtualization platforms, application servers, and Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Lead technical audits, cleanup, and consolidation initiatives across Active Directory, group policies, file servers, virtual machines, and SQL environments, and support migration projects including cloud and hosting transformations.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation covering as‑is and target architectures, standards, procedures, and operational practices to ensure sustainability and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and workplace teams, coordinate with external hosting partners, and provide N2/N3 operational support when required while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and qualifications

Education & experience

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in systems, infrastructure, and workplace environments
• Proven experience in hybrid IT environments (on‑premise / cloud)

Technical skills

• Microsoft hybrid environments (Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365)
• Windows Server, virtualization platforms (VMware), and file services
• File server migrations and permission audits (NTFS)
• SQL Server and application server consolidation
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Strong documentation and standardization capabilities
