About The Job
Main missions
Your Responsibilities Include
- Oversee the implementation of network projects, including network design and Level 3 escalation support for operational issues.
- Collaborate as part of the Global Team to design, deploy, and maintain comprehensive LAN and wireless infrastructure solutions.
- possess extensive expertise in network technologies, with a strong emphasis on designing and managing complex network infrastructures within financial services organizations.
- Assist the Product Manager in planning and assigning tasks to European team to ensure timely delivery.
Expected Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Network, including at least 2 years in a complex enterprise network engineer role in a sizable organization.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN routing and switching environments.
- Proficient in deploying and managing wireless technologies (e.g., Cisco Aironet, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, and ideally HPE Aruba).
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in TACACS+ and RADIUS AAA services; familiarity with Cisco ISE and ideally HPE Aruba ClearPass.
- Advanced knowledge of modern LAN technologies; practical experience with Cisco Catalyst Centre and ideally HPE Aruba Central.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, packet analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, QoS, STP, HSRP, VRRP, TACACS+, RADIUS, SNMP, NTP, NetFlow, 802.1X, and others).
- Experience designing and implementing SD-WAN solutions across diverse underlay networks.
- Experience with bandwidth and performance analysis tools and SNMP-based NMS.
- Understanding of common application-layer protocols (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, IPsec).
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging networking products, features, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in network documentation (support procedures, network diagrams, HLD, LLD).
- Scripting skills (Shell, PERL, Python) for network automation and REST API integrations with modern NMS.
- Familiarity with NMS tools like LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, CA Spectrum, Cacti, Syslog.
- Hands-on experience with private and public cloud networking (advantageous).
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
Soft Skills / Transversal Skills
- Good communication in French and English (spoken and written).
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities; capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, with willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- Meticulous in designing, implementing, and documenting network configurations to ensure reliability.
- Ability to manage tasks and priorities to meet deadlines; provide strong user and client support.
- Calm under pressure; logical decision-making and persistent in resolving challenging issues.
- Interest in staying updated with industry trends, certifications, and technological advancements.
- Ability to guide cross-functional teams with proactive communication and mentorship.
