WideBody Development Prevention Manager M/F

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a WideBody Development Prevention Manager M/F to join our Quality Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing quality prevention activities on Widebody programs and will support the deployment of prevention methodology to secure on‑time aircraft deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality prevention activities and assessments (APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA) across the entire perimeter of new Widebody development programs (A350 Freighter, A350 ULR, A330).
• Apply the Widebody Quality Prevention strategy and secure regular milestone feedback to the program management team and central quality.
• Maintain the quality cockpit and monitor performance indicators using data‑driven tools such as Skywise and Looker Studio.
• Monitor APQP performance, track prevention deployment, and deliver progress reports across cross‑functional interfaces (Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing).
• Act as the official prevention focal point on program steps and drive prevention communication streams across the Widebody perimeter.

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in project management, quality assurance, or industrial risk management.
• Technical expertise in aerospace quality prevention tools and frameworks: APQP, DFMEA, and PFMEA.
• Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools: Skywise and Looker Studio.
• Advanced level of English and French language proficiency (daily working languages).
