Overview
As Wholesale Account Manager – South Europe, you will be responsible for driving the commercial development of Casablanca across Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal.
You will manage a strategic portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand presence across the region. This role requires a strong understanding of the Southern European retail landscape, balancing growth, distribution control, and brand desirability.
The position is based in Paris, and candidates must be currently based there or willing to relocate
The role
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key wholesale accounts across Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal
- Drive seasonal sales campaigns from showroom appointments through to order conversion, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, acting as a strategic partner while safeguarding brand positioning
- Present collections with clarity and impact, translating creative direction into commercial success
- Define and execute regional distribution strategy in alignment with global objectives
- Analyse sell‑through, retail performance, and market feedback to inform future assortments and opportunities
- Oversee order lifecycle management in coordination with operations teams, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Actively manage in-season business, including reorders, swaps, and stock optimization
- Monitor pricing, markdown activity, and product visibility to protect brand equity and margins
- Collaborate with merchandising, product, and marketing teams to ensure regional alignment
- Identify and onboard new strategic accounts in line with brand positioning
The candidate
- Fluent in English, French, and Italian (mandatory); Spanish is a plus
- Proven experience in wholesale/account management within luxury or premium fashion
- Strong knowledge of the Southern European retail landscape, particularly Italy and France
- Commercially driven with the ability to balance sales growth and brand integrity
- Strong analytical mindset with a solid understanding of sell‑through, KPIs, and margin structures
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, combined with a highly organised, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven approach
- Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, international environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution‑driven attitude
