Welding Engineer

Location: Paris area, France

Duration: 12-month assignment (renewal possible depending on project needs)

Start Date: ASAP

Arkios is currently looking for an experienced Welding & Materials Engineer to join a major international engineering company involved in multiple Oil & Gas projects.

Your Role

As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will provide technical expertise in welding and materials engineering throughout both engineering and construction phases.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and reviewing welding procedures and technical specifications
• Supporting engineering teams on welding and materials-related topics
• Reviewing client specifications and technical requirements
• Evaluating technical bids from subcontractors
• Investigating and resolving welding non-conformities
• Providing technical support during construction and site activities
• Participating in occasional onshore and offshore missions

Profile

We are looking for someone with:

• Engineering degree in Welding, Materials or Mechanical Engineering
• ESSA and/or IWE certification
• Strong knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
• Previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry
• Good understanding of fabrication, welding qualification and quality control
