Web Designer / Graphic Design Apprentice

Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a graphic design degree or a related field, for a one-year work-study program (renewable)
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc
• Strong web design culture & mobile-responsive design knowledge
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles
• Good command of WordPress
• Sensitivity to web conversion best practices
• Strong understanding of design and web design principles: visual hierarchy, typography, grids, color theory, responsive design
• Ability to turn abstract ideas into clear and compelling visual concepts
• Strong aesthetic sense and creativity
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Awareness of current design trends and ability to integrate them appropriately
• Degree in graphic design or a related field
• Fluent English

What the job involves

• As part of our digital growth, we are looking for a Web Design–oriented Graphic Design Apprentice to join our team. You will play an active role in creating digital visual assets and evolving our graphic identity
• Design digital graphic assets: web banners, blog visuals, landing pages, web pages, campaign visuals, etc
• Create designs for social media: posts, stories, ads, etc
• Produce visual assets for email campaigns, social media, ebooks, webinars, and events
• Use motion design skills to create simple animations and dynamic visual content
• Contribute to the design and rollout of web pages while ensuring visual consistency
• Propose smoother and more user-friendly web journeys
• Adapt visuals and content to web constraints
• Design conversion-focused pages related to marketing campaigns
• Help optimize the visual performance of existing website assets
• Participate in the brand creation and development process by proposing creative ideas and ensuring visual consistency
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project needs and objectives and translate them into relevant visual concepts
• Retouch and edit existing images as needed
• Take feedback into account and continuously improve designs
• Monitor graphic design, UX, and web design trends to ensure modern and relevant creations
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met
• Participate in design, UX, and web trend monitoring (design watch)
