Water Sector Design and Construction Supervision Engineer

• Conduct civil engineering assessments of defects and deterioration affecting water-sector infrastructure
• Design water supply and wastewater infrastructure: diagnostic studies, preliminary studies, and detailed design stages
• Conduct and monitor related and supplementary studies
• Manage tendering and bid analysis phases
• Monitor construction works, including design compliance review, construction supervision, project coordination, and handover
• Contribute to urban water engineering studies, particularly diagnostic assessments and master plans for drinking water and wastewater systems
• Manage and monitor construction execution
• Supervise and coordinate construction works
• Oversee project handover and close-out
• Participate in agency projects from preliminary design through completion and handover
• Work under the responsibility of the Atlantic Agency Director, with support from the Design and Construction Supervision Department

Requirements

• Degree from an engineering school specializing in hydraulics, public works, or civil engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in an engineering consultancy or construction supervision, excluding internships and work-study programs
• Proficiency in French public procurement law
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory and technical standards
• Highly organized and rigorous
• Strong interpersonal skills when working with clients and contractors
• Strong analytical and summarization skills
• Excellent written communication skills
