BYD is expanding its operations in France to support a growing portfolio of New Electric Vehicle Passenger car and LCVs projects.
About the department
The After Sales department within BYD Europe is responsible for all Service & Maintenance related topics concerning our full electric buses & trucks. This is including, but not limited to, building up a service network in whole Europe, providing technical support to our customers and Service Providers, supporting the sales department by calculating Life Cycle Costs, development of the Spare Parts business and providing training. The main objective of the After Sales department is to contribute to Customer Satisfaction & loyalty.
One of the important tasks of the After Sales department is to provide Technical service to our Service Providers and customers. For the Technical & Warranty team, we are looking for a After Sales Technical Specialist France for Passenger Cars.
Key Responsibilities
Timely carry out warranty report verification and warranty reimbursement in accordance with the warranty operations management policy.
Collect warranty information and analyze the data to make a report.
Investigate warranty operation and explain policy with service partners.
Carry out abnormal warranty inspection with regular warranty checking, continuous improvement of warranty activities.
Manage warranty parts, auditing warranty parts discarded as useless.
Assist in tracking special events, material verification, warranty report verification and any other related processes.
Organize and carry out on-site training for warranty activities and training in agreement with relevant stakeholders.
Be the BYD ambassador in your area of responsibility.
As well as any other tasks that may be assigned by your manager.
Profile
With a technical background (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in automotive engineering, engineering or a related field, you have a solid first experience in a technical, aftersales or warranty role within a car manufacturer, importer, or automotive dealer network.
Your technical expertise allows you to effectively analyze and resolve complex issues while maintaining clear and structured communication with various stakeholders (service partners, internal teams, and customers).
Key skills and qualifications :
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, ideally in the field of electric vehicles or new mobility technologies.
- Good understanding of warranty procedures, data analysis, and technical reporting.
- Ability to conduct on-site inspections and ensure thorough follow-up of operations.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multicultural team.
- Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus.
- Willingness and availability to travel regularly within France.
