Vulnerability Operations Engineer – EndPoint and External Response

The Role

We're seeking a Vulnerability Operations Engineer to own our Cloud and Infra / Endpoint & External Exposure security operations within the Vulnerability Operations Center (VOC).

You'll be responsible for monitoring endpoint vulnerabilities, managing external attack surface exposure, driving remediation activities and helping mature the organisation's vulnerability management capability across a global enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage endpoint vulnerability scanning and external attack surface monitoring.
• Configure and administer vulnerability management platforms, ensuring effective alert triage and SLA compliance.
• Track remediation progress with IT teams and escape critical vulnerabilities where required.
• Coordinate compensating controls and risk acceptance processes.
• Produce operational dashboards and executive reporting to support governance.
• Own endpoint scanning tools, vendor relationships and user enablement across the organisation.
• Support the rollout of automated remediation workflows, reporting platforms and vulnerability management standards.

Skills & Experience

• Experience with endpoint vulnerability management and external attack surface management.
• Knowledge of EDR-integrated vulnerability scanning technologies.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability prioritisation using CVSS, EPSS and CISA KEV.
• Experience working with IT teams to drive remediation and improve SLA performance.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Experience in endpoint security or attack surface management is highly desirable.
