What you will do
As VP Growth , you own and scale Joko’s B2C growth engine end‑to‑end: acquisition, activation, retention, and reactivation. Your mission: drive profitable, scalable growth and bring Joko to millions of users across France, the US, and beyond. You operate at both leadership and execution levels, shaping the vision while ensuring fast, high‑quality delivery. You report to the CMO and lead the Growth Team, building a world‑class, AI‑powered growth organization.
- Build, run, and continuously arbitrate Joko’s full‑funnel growth engine: improve every step of the user journey from acquisition, activation, retention, and reactivation to grow a valuable, engaged user base.
- Own and optimize our growth budget and LTV/CAC ratio: maximize efficiency across all growth channels and levers including referral, ads, influence, growth partnerships, and more (you tell us what’s next).
- Identify and activate new growth loops: explore new channels, test innovative formats, and launch breakthrough ideas that unlock incremental and scalable growth.
- Partner with Product, Data, and cross‑functional teams: drive marketing initiatives within Joko’s growth roadmap alongside our Growth Task Force to ensure alignment and fast execution across the company.
- Own measurement, attribution, and incrementality: ensure we track the right KPIs daily, run incrementality tests, and maintain a strong data foundation that supports confident decision‑making.
- Scale AI across growth: automate campaign operations, accelerate creative production, enhance segmentation, and use predictive models to guide prioritization.
- Lead and scale the Growth Team (5 people today and growing): build a high‑performing team, foster a culture of experimentation, speed, and ownership, and raise the bar on impact.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience: 10+ years in growth, performance marketing, or full‑funnel B2C growth (mobile app or marketplace), with a proven track record of delivering profitable, sustainable growth at scale.
- Deep channel expertise: strong ownership across key channels including Meta, TikTok, Google, ASA, affiliates, referral, influencer, and partnerships, with clear budget accountability.
- Operator mindset: set clear direction and translate it into execution, with strong judgment on where to invest for maximum ROI.
- Highly data‑driven: rely on experimentation, cohort analysis, and funnel metrics to guide decisions and prioritize effectively.
- Hands‑on approach: stay close to execution, unblock teams quickly, and jump in when needed to move things forward.
- AI‑native mindset: use AI daily and know how to scale operations through automation, agents, and workflow improvements.
- Team leadership: experience hiring, managing, and scaling high‑performing teams, and drive performance and accountability.
- Languages: fluent in French and English, written and spoken.

Our hiring process
- Intro call: Quick screening with the Hiring Manager or the Talent team.
- Step 1 – Team interview (45 min): Conversation with two Joko team members (could include the Hiring Manager, people from the team you’d join, or colleagues from other teams).
- Step 2 – Role‑specific assessments
- For non‑engineering roles: a take‑home case study followed by a 45‑min interview. We assess both your output and how you think in real time. The exercise will be relevant to your role (e.g. analysis, strategy, or process design).
- For engineering roles: a 90‑min live technical interview on CoderPad covering code understanding, review, system design, and product thinking (with AI serving as a collaboration tool).
- Step 3 – Leadership interview (45 min): Conversation with a SteerCo member and a Founder.
- References: up to 3 calls with former colleagues or managers.
